The December issue of Mixmag features my cover illustration of Skrillex riding a giant dubstep bomb (which started as a little hand grenade from South London and has gained some megatonnage over the past two decades). The concept is a bit of a tribute to Dr Strangelove and a little reworking of my Mountain Rider samurai print but with more of an Americana/comic book vibe. Drawing Skrillex was really good fun, he has a pretty unique style going on, almost like a comic book character, plus I had his music looping whilst I drew it which was rad.
